HLTFA301B APPLY FIRST AID STANDARD This program option is intended for first-time learners and first aiders who prefer a training workshop learning environment. Your trainer works with you and the group, progressing systematically through the course content, drawing on past knowledge and skills. Training focus is on assisting you to gain the knowledge, and develop the skills required for competency in emergency life support and the provision of first aid. A variety of training approaches including class and small group discussions, first aid critical incident scenario simulations, workbook exercises, sustained practice of CPR and other first aid skills, and relevant audiovisual materials are used to support your learning through to the achievement of competency.
